🚩 Class Struggle: We are Marxists with a materialist view of class struggle as the driving force in history and politics.

⭐ The State and Politics: Socialists should wage political campaigns to influence legislative and electoral outcomes and contest for state power.

🫱🏼‍🫲🏾 Solidarity Against Oppression: We seek to organize and unite the working class, which is multiracial, multicultural, multigenerational and international.

🌹 The Role of DSA: DSA is a unique organization in the US Left, and has a key role to play in cohering the working class into a mass party.

🔀 Left-Labor Merger: Winning Socialism will require a merger of the socialist and labor movements into a powerful, class-conscious, revolutionary force.

🛠️ A Working-Class Party: Our long-term goal is organizing a working-class party: a mass democratic political organization capable of taking state power.

🗳️ Class Struggle Elections: DSA candidates should amplify class struggle, use elections to grow our base, and be held accountable to a socialist program.

✊ Anti-Fascism: Socialists should join broad coalitions to defeat the far-right while building independent working-class organization.

🌐 Anti-Imperialism: We stand against imperialist wars, and seek to unite working people across the world into an international movement for revolution.

📣 Mass Action: Our movement should reach outwards to the masses of ordinary working people, not focus inwards on the miniscule existing left.

✅ Democracy: We support collective and participatory decision-making that derives its legitimacy and authority from majoritarian support.

⚖️ Against the Tyranny of Structurelessness: We stand for formal, transparent and accountable structures that hold leaders accountable to collective decisions.

🔴 Discipline: We promote a collectivist culture that puts political principles and the long-term health of the socialist movement before individual short-term interests.

🏆 Fighting to Win: We take organizing seriously because we understand the urgent necessity of socialist revolution in our lifetimes.
